SNAP Workforce Aurukun Hub

Snap Workforce is the labour hire arm of OLK Aurukun Enterprises, working in partnership with the Aurukun community to create real job opportunities and long-term career pathways. Together with local council, Community Elders and regional employers, we are building a workforce model that supports residents into meaningful roles, while also supporting their journey through adult learning, mentoring and culturally informed practices that reflect the values of the community. This pilot is all about shared growth and community strength. Workers from Pacific Island nations contribute to essential services while mentoring local trainees, creating a supportive environment where skills are built, confidence grows, and futures are shaped. Every placement is backed by cultural safety, tailored onboarding and wraparound support; because we believe strong communities deserve strong systems.
